Flood waters entered several localities along the Jhelum river in Pampore and Budgam areas on Thursday following breaches in the river embankments near Zonipora and Shalina villages.
As per officials, hundreds of people were evacuated to safer places by the NDRF and SDRF personnel with the help of officials from the district administrations.
