Srinagar, Dec 26: Two youths were critically injured after they came in contact with a live electric wire while taking a selfie on top of a stationary train at Budgam Railway Station on Friday.
Official sources told Kashmir Dot Com the incident occurred when the two boys climbed onto the roof of the train and accidentally touched an overhead high-voltage wire, resulting in severe electrocution.
Both victims sustained serious injuries and were immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment. Hospital sources said their condition is critical.
“Further details regarding their identities and circumstances leading to the incident are awaited,” they said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KDC)
