Srinagar, Jan 4: Political leaders, advocates, and representatives of prominent trade bodies visited the residence of PDP senior leader and former State Secretary Arif Laigroo to offer condolences on the demise of his uncle, Muhammad Aslam Laigroo, former Municipal Commissioner.
PDP Ex-Minister and Chairman Parliamentary Board Abdul Rehman Veeri visited Laigroo’s residence, while Advocate Mohd Showkat Mir, Provincial President Kashmir, National Conference; Muhammad Rafi Mir, General Secretary, Apni Party; Dr Harbaksh Singh, State Secretary, Apni Party; and Adv Imad Mir, Apni Party leader also visited the bereaved family.
Representatives of various trade bodies also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, including Muhammad Yaseen Khan of the Kashmir Traders Federation, Aijaz Shahdar, and members of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation.
The visiting leaders and delegations also offered condolences to the sons of the deceased—Irfan Aslam Laigroo, Zeeshan Aslam Laigroo, and Mehran Aslam Laigroo—and prayed for strength and patience for them and the entire family during this difficult time. Prominent bussinessman Muhammad Yousuf Mir and Manzoor Ahmed Shah also visited the bereaved family.
PDP Ex-minister and Chairman Parliamentary Board Abdul Rehman Veeri expressed grief over the loss, remembering the late Muhammad Aslam Laigroo as an able, honest, and people-friendly administrator who served the public with dedication and integrity.
