Srinagar, Dec 25: National Conference Rajya Sabha MP Shammi Oberoi Thursday visited Ajmer Dargah Sharief and offered a ceremonial chadder at the revered shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti (RA). He was accompanied by Provincial Vice President and MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi on the occasion, said a party press release.
The leaders visited the revered shrine on the directions of Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah and CM Omar Abdullah.
The leaders prayed for lasting peace, prosperity in J&K and the country at large.
