Banihal, Jan 2: SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban on Friday distributed certificates to trainees who completed a vegetable cultivation and management programme at Behri Neghal, encouraging them to pursue self-employment through scientific farming practices.
The programme was presided over by Director SBI RSETI Ramban, S Harvinder Singh, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the trainees, he congratulated them on completing the training and clearing the examination. He highlighted the significance of the training certificates, stating that these would help in skill recognition, promoting self-employment and enabling beneficiaries to avail benefits under various government-sponsored schemes and bank-linked financial assistance.
The Director assured the trainees of continuous handholding support from SBI RSETI Ramban and encouraged them to adopt scientific and improved methods of vegetable cultivation. He further informed them that the institute would provide guidance in project preparation, financial planning and credit linkage whenever required.
At the end of the programme, certificates were distributed among the trainees. The participants expressed gratitude to SBI RSETI Ramban for conducting a need-based and beneficial training programme in their area, which they said would help in improving their income and livelihood opportunities.
