Srinagar, Dec 31: The Pencak Silat Association of Jammu and Kashmir will conduct open selection trials for boys and girls across all age groups on January 19, 2026, at the Indoor Stadium, Polo Ground, Srinagar, ahead of the J&K team’s participation in the 3rd All India Pencak Silat Championship to be held in Dehradun later this month.
As per a statement issued, it has asked a Player should carry a valid ID proof & age proof duly recommendations from his/her district head along with a Parent declaration and a medical and health & insurance certificate and other related documents like 2 no’s of passport size photographs after receiving all the documents, the player is eligible for the selection trials.
“It is advised to all the affiliated District Pencak Silat Associations to send their entries from their respective districts by or before 10th January 2026. Later no entry will be entertained or on spot entries cannot be accepted,” reads the statement.
The statement adds, “ NO boarding, Lodging or any Transportation will be provided during the trials. Simultaneously Selected athletes will go through the screening under the experts from J&K Sports Council on 20th Jan 2026.”
All the interested athletes have been requested to kindly follow the procedure as per the rules and regulation laid down in this notice.
