Srinagar June 1: The Jammu and Kashmir government has asked consumers to obtain the receipt from the respective ration sale centres while receiving ration as part of transparency measure.
A government handout issued Tuesday asked general public to contact the government helpline number set up for the purpose in case any storekeeper is reluctant to provide the receipt.
The helpline number is 1800-180-7011.
The consumers can also register their complaints online on the portal feastjk.gov.in/jkgrams.
“The @FCSCAJK1asked beneficiaries to obtain receipt from their respective Govt Sale Centre/ Fair Price Shop while receiving ration. In case any storekeeper is reluctant to provide receipt contact on toll free No. 1800-180-7011 or on portal i.e. http://feastjk.gov.in/jkgrams,” a government spokesperson tweeted.
