Jammu, June 16: As a part of its much-hyped Annual Transfer Drive (ATD)- 2021, J&K School Education Department has notified the tentative list of principals of Jammu division for transfers and postings and invited objections, to be filed within five days.
As per the notification, the department has, in total, received 196 applications from Principals of Jammu division seeking intra-district and inter-district transfer/posting, mostly on the grounds of mature stay (99) with posting before March 2018 and health issue (47).
Out of them, the Department has only processed 35 applications (26 under โMature stayโ, 7 on health ground, 1 for โPhysical disabilityโ and 1 on โHard zoneโ ground) for consideration.
Though there were 48 applications seeking transfer under the head โpremature stayโ, the department considered none. Interestingly, the Department has not received any transfer/posting application on the grounds of โSecurityโ, โSpouse postingโ, โsurplusโ or โMarriage.โ
Besides, three applications have been forwarded under the head โDisplacement,โ out of which two have been considered by the department.
โIn terms of Government Order No 948-JK(GAD)of 2020, dated 15-10-2020 read with Circular No. 01-Edu of 2021, dated 11.01.2021, tentative transfer/postings of Principals, Jammu Division is hereby notified for objection(s), if any, from concerned, within five days,โ read a notification issued by Naseer Ahmad Wani Additional Secretary to Government School education Department.
List is available on the official website of the School Education Department, J&K (http://jkeducation.gov.in). The concerned can register their objections as per format on email ID: atdesdjk@gmail.com.
As per the notification number 8 issued on June 14, objections will be entertained only from candidates who have applied online/displaced. Further, objections submitted beyond the stipulated period will not be entertained. โThose who have been displaced can represent again with their choice of station available in the Performa given,โ read the notification.
The department has received 122 applications seeking intra-district transfers. 74 applications for inter-district transfers have been received.
