The move unacceptable

Palestine basically is a problem which again is the creation of Great Britain. As it is they who after the Holocaust and the world war second of 1945 in which millions of Jews were forced into the exile by the ruthless German dictator Adolf Hitler. They instead of taking them home collected them from all over the world and made them settle right in the middle of Palestine. UN passed a resolution for creation of two states of Israel and Palestine and Jerusalem was to kept as an international city. Arabs outright rejected this resolution as they wanted to retain Jerusalem as capital of Palestine.  However on 14.05.1948 Israel was unilaterally as an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. It from here the dispute has begun and has remained unresolved for last so many decades now. 

US to begin with did not have much of a role in it. But it is a fact that in the US Jews were all along deep rooted and controlled most of its financial institutions and both print and as well as electronic media. And as result thereof they had a good deal of control over its overall politics and economy. They therefore pumped a lot of their resources and with their help and support within a short span of time it has became a developed country. They are today highly educated people in the world and it’s GDP is highest in the Middle East. And with this kind of direct patronage of the US it has become one of the most formidable military power in the world. Although its population is equal to one half of the population of the J&K state and it’s area is one-tenth thereof.  

Yet they have not only been able to subjugate Palestinians but are also posing a serious threat to the security of all the Muslim countries in the world. Thousands of Palestinian children, men and women have so far been martyred and they are continuing to bleed with every passing day. May be in return they may have also inflicted some losses on the Israelis but in comparison those losses are negligible.

Jerusalem actually is a holy place for all the Muslim in the world but it is at the same time sacred for Jews as well as Christians. As all the followers of these three religions have their most important place of worship within it and are inseparable in many ways. As such its character and sanctity as a holly city needs to be preserved by one and all. 

Creation of two independent states of Palestine and Israel may solve some of the ethnic issues this region is facing for decades together now but giving Jerusalem to Israel alone and allowing it to be made capital of a country virtually created out nothing is not only an unfair act on the part of US but it is bound to endanger the world peace. That is why 128 countries in the UN General assembly have opted to oppose this most unpopular move in history of the world while as 35 have abstained from voting and only 9 countries headed by the US have supported this move. 

It is true that like so many other hawkish electoral promises president Trump had made during dirtiest ever fought presidential campaign in the history America. This was one of the primary promises he had made he had made to the electorate. He had boosted of high intellect of his Jewish son in law Jared Kushner. He had said that soon his son in law will broker a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. But today nothing like that is in sight and whatever gains had been made in the past to bring these two communities closer are being reversed and with it America credibility as broker of peace in the region has vanished altogether.
