Srinagar, Jan 2: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Javid Ahmad Tenga today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to discuss issues affecting the trade and commerce sector in the region.
A statement said that during the meeting, Tenga raised concerns confronting multiple sectors, including tourism, transport, startups and handicrafts, while highlighting banking issues and key challenges impacting economic growth and entrepreneurial activities in Kashmir.
The discussions centred on measures needed to strengthen the commercial ecosystem and address obstacles faced by traders and industrialists across the valley.
The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to the matters presented and assured the KCCI leadership of the administration’s commitment to supporting the business community. Tenga expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for his time and constructive engagement on issues vital to the region’s economic progress.
