Jammu, Jan 2: Seven Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were among 478 officers and officials who were awarded the Director General of Police’s (DGP’s) commendation medal and certificate for their exemplary service during 2025.
As per an order issued by J&K Police Headquarters, Jammu, these IPS officers included three Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) – SSP Gurinderpal Singh, SSP Anayat Ali Choudhary (both from Kashmir zone) and SSP Gaurav Sikarwar (from Jammu zone); three Superintendents of Police (SPs) – Hariprasad K K, Kartik Shrotriya, (both from Kashmir zone) and Mukund Tibrewal (Jammu zone), and an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vaibhav Meena (Kashmir zone).
The officers awarded also included 18 DySPs.
