Srinagar, Jan 3: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah has extended greetings to the people of J&K on the Youm-e-Wiladat of Ameer-ul-Momineen, Hazrat Ali Al Murtaza (RA).
On this revered day, Dr Farooq emphasised the profound legacy of Hazrat Ali (RA), whose life was a beacon of wisdom, courage, justice, and piety, said a press release. He praised Hazrat Ali’s (RA) unwavering commitment to the values of truth and righteousness, and his role in the spiritual and political leadership of the Muslim Ummah. “Hazrat Ali (RA) is remembered for his deep knowledge, unparalleled bravery, and his selfless service to humanity, which continue to inspire generations worldwide,” he said.
Dr Farooq encouraged the people, particularly youth, to draw inspiration from Hazrat Ali’s (RA) teachings, particularly his emphasis on justice, compassion, humility and submission to Allah (SWT).
He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and harmony for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, hoping that the blessings of this day would guide the youth towards unity and mutual understanding. He also urged everyone to reflect upon the values of Hazrat Ali (RA) and work towards fostering an environment of love, tolerance, and brotherhood in society. Meanwhile, patron of J&K Jamait Hamdani, Mirwaiz Moulana Riyaz Hamdani also greeted people on the Youm-e-Wiladat of Ameer-ul-Momineen, Hazrat Ali Al Murtaza (RA).
