Shopian, Jan 3: Burglars broke into two shops in Rampora Trenz village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday night, police said.
The shops were owned by Mohammad Jabbar Malik and Mohammad Iqbal Ahangar. Thieves decamped with a generator and some food items.
“During the burglary they also vandalised the premises”, a police official said. Police have launched an investigation into the incidents and are assessing the losses, the official added.
