Srinagar, Jan 4: J&K Cabinet ministers on Sunday greeted people on Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.

Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo extended her heartfelt greetings to the people, particularly the Sikh community on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Purab, birth anniversary of  Guru Gobind Singh Ji, said an official press release.

In her message, the Minister said that Parkash Purab is a sacred occasion that inspires humanity with the timeless teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who stood for truth, courage, equality and selfless service. She noted that Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s life and sacrifices continue to guide society towards righteousness, compassion and unity.

Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana extended his greetings, especially to Sikh community, on the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In his greeting message, Javed Rana underlined that the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji have been source of inspiration for millions of people worldwide. He said that his vision of unity, peace and harmony continues to guide and inspire many to work for the betterment of society as a whole.

Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Information Technology, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Science & Technology, ARI and Trainings, Satish Sharma today extended warm greetings to the people, especially the Sikh community of Jammu & Kashmir and across the country, on the auspicious occasion of Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In his message, the Minister paid glowing tributes to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, remembering him as a great spiritual luminary, visionary reformer and an embodiment of courage, sacrifice and compassion. He described the Guru as the eternal “Saint-Soldier” whose life and teachings continue to inspire humanity to uphold truth, justice, equality and selfless service.

Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar extended greetings to the people, especially Sikh community living in Jammu & Kashmir and across India on the auspicious occasion of Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In his message, the Minister paid rich tributes to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, remembering him as a great spiritual leader, visionary reformer and the embodiment of courage and compassion. He described Guru Gobind Singh Ji as the eternal “Saint Soldier” whose life and teachings continue to inspire humanity to uphold truth, justice, equality and selfless service, said a press release.

“On this sacred occasion, I convey my heartfelt greetings to all Sikh brothers and sisters. The life and legacy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji guide us to stand against injustice, protect the weak, and work for the welfare of society with unwavering faith and courage,” the Minister said.
