Srinagar, Jan 4: A meeting of the Anjuman–Srinagar Literary Forum, a collective platform of writers, poets, critics, and literary activists dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and enrichment of Kashmiri, Urdu, and allied literary traditions, was held to deliberate upon the activities of the forum, adoption of its constitution, and to hold a detailed and threadbare discussion on the future plans and programmes of the organisation.
As per a press release, the meeting was attended by the members Bashir Arif, Imdad Saqi, Gh Hassan Ghamgeen, Bashir Buch, Mehraj-ud-Din Ahmad, Farooq Shabnum, Abid Gowhar and Sahil Dar.
Members presently outside the Valley—Muhammad Zaman Azurdha, Rukhsana Jabeen, Shad Ramzan and Zarif Ahmad Zarif—participated online and were taken fully into confidence during the deliberations, it added.
