Jammu, Dec 28: Ahead of the New Year celebrations, Indian Railways has put in place a series of measures to facilitate passengers and effectively manage heavy rush at Jammu division railway stations, particularly during peak travel hours.
The initiatives aim to ensure passenger safety, smooth movement and timely services during the festive period.
According to Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu Division, a special six-day training programme to handle heavy passenger rush is being conducted from December 27 to January 1.
The training focuses on crowd control, passenger assistance and coordinated response during rush-like situations at stations and aboard trains.
