Srinagar, Jan 2: The National Investigation Agency conducted searches in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama districts on Friday as part of its investigation into the November 10 blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, officials said.

NIA sleuths, assisted by police and CRPF personnel, brought along one of the accused—Yasir Ahmad Dar—during the searches. Dar was arrested in connection with an alleged “white collar” terror module linked to the case.

The searches were conducted in the Padpawan area of Shopian and the Pampore locality of Pulwama, both in south Kashmir.

The operations were carried out at the instance of Dar, the ninth accused in the case, who had informed investigators about certain hideouts in these areas, the officials said.
